About the Role

You will execute policy communications, build relationships with policymakers and industry stakeholders, advocate on relevant legislation and rulemaking, and manage Washington, D.C. events. You will represent the organization in coalitions, partner on programming, and prepare leaders for policy engagements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience
• Experience on Capitol Hill is strongly preferred
• External lobbying experience
• Registered lobbying experience under the Lobbying Disclosure Act is strongly preferred
• A Washington network
• Event execution experience
• Strong writing skills
• Sound judgment
• Interest in AI policy
• Based in Washington, D.C.
• Ability to work in the office four days per week
• Ability to travel occasionally

Responsibilities

• Execute the policy communications strategy and provide policy intelligence to legal, policy, and product teams
• Build relationships with congressional, executive branch, trade association, think tank, and civil society stakeholders
• Advocate on company positions and track relevant bills and rulemakings
• Manage Washington, D.C. events including briefings, roundtables, demos, receptions, dinners, and offsites
• Represent the organization in coalitions and trade association working groups
• Partner with think tanks and civil society groups on convenings, research launches, and programming
• Prepare briefing materials, meeting preparation, and post-meeting recaps for leaders
