About the Role
You will develop policy positions and engage EU institutions, agencies, think tanks, academia, and other stakeholders. You will analyze policy proposals, map the policy landscape, draft consultation submissions, plan events, build strategic campaigns, and support commercial efforts where appropriate. This role includes travel within EMEA once or twice per quarter and occasional travel to the United States.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the EU digital regulatory landscape, including EU AI and data policy
- Professional experience working on EU digital policy
- Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory topics into accessible information
- Track record of advocacy with EU governments and regulatory authorities
- Event planning and stakeholder-management experience
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
Responsibilities
- Support policy engagement with EU institutions, agencies, and public-sector partners
- Engage policy stakeholders through briefings, consultations, demonstrations, and roundtables
- Analyze policy proposals and map the EU policy landscape
- Draft submissions for public comment and consultations
- Plan events and build strategic policy campaigns
- Cultivate relationships with policy and political partners across the EU AI policy ecosystem
- Support commercial efforts with the EMEA GTM team
