About the Role
You will lead policy and regulatory engagement across APAC, represent the organisation in public-policy discussions, and build relationships with government and regulatory stakeholders. You will develop market-specific strategies, monitor regulatory developments, draft consultation responses, and collaborate with internal teams to align products and go-to-market activities with local expectations.
Requirements
- Experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, government relations, or financial crime
- Experience engaging financial regulators and government stakeholders in APAC
- Understanding of AML/CTF, financial crime, cybercrime, or regulatory frameworks
- Understanding of digital assets and their regulatory, compliance, and enforcement implications
- Ability to establish credibility with senior government officials and regulators
- Experience executing regulatory or government affairs initiatives
- Experience representing an organisation in regulatory consultations, industry forums, or public-private partnerships
- Written and verbal communication skills, including producing policy papers, consultation responses, and executive-level briefings
- Experience working cross-functionally with legal, product, engineering, sales, and commercial teams
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison to policy and regulatory stakeholders across Singapore, Australia, South Korea, and Japan
- Develop and execute market-specific policy and regulatory engagement strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with regulators and government officials
- Represent the organisation in regional policy, legislative, and regulatory discussions
- Draft and coordinate responses to regulatory consultations, proposed rules, and legislative reforms
- Monitor regional regulatory and policy developments and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Partner with APAC leadership, government solutions, and account teams to advance policy objectives
- Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to align products and messaging with local regulatory expectations
