About the Role

You will provide legal guidance on stablecoin, payment, and card products. You will manage regulatory requirements, draft customer-facing and commercial agreements, monitor regulatory developments, design compliant product structures, and oversee outside counsel relationships and legal spend.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience
  • JD and admission to practice in at least one US jurisdiction
  • Experience advising on digital assets and payments at a top law firm or in-house
  • Knowledge of US financial legislation, regulations, and supervisory frameworks
  • Familiarity with the SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, and state-regulator approaches
  • Legal communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making in ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Advise on legal and compliance issues for stablecoin, payment, and card products
  • Expand product offerings in line with regulatory requirements
  • Draft and maintain terms of service, user agreements, and product disclosures
  • Manage US regulatory requirements, applications, and card-network compliance obligations
  • Monitor regulatory developments and advise on their business impact
  • Design compliant product structures and card program agreements
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
  • Ensure compliance with applicable US financial-services regulations
  • Manage outside counsel relationships, matter scope, and legal spend
