About the Role
You will lead transaction and customer-activity monitoring for money laundering and fraud, file suspicious activity reports, and develop AML policies, procedures, and monitoring scenarios. You will support risk assessments, testing, compliance technology, regulator engagement, reporting, and responses to new rules.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years at a financial-services firm or regulator
- Series 7 license
- Ability to multitask and reprioritize in a demanding environment
- Interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Verbal, writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail
- Respect for confidentiality and privacy
Responsibilities
- Lead AML monitoring for money laundering and fraudulent activity and file SARs
- Create policies, procedures, workflow tools, and monitoring scenarios
- Support model validation programs
- Ensure compliance with BSA/AML and securities laws
- Maintain AML, SAR, KYC, and senior-management reporting policies
- Support risk assessments and control testing
- Develop compliance technologies, controls, and processes
- Engage with legal, compliance professionals, and regulators
- Support responses to new rules and AML training initiatives
