About the Role
You will handle US AML obligations, including SAR filings, CTR reporting, and FinCEN requirements. You will manage sanctions compliance, support the broker-dealer programme and client onboarding, assess product and token risks, respond to law-enforcement requests, support audits, and work with Legal, Risk, and control functions.
Requirements
- Active FINRA Series 7, Series 24, or equivalent licenses
- Hands-on US MLRO or Deputy MLRO experience
- SAR filing, CTR reporting, and FinCEN compliance experience
- OFAC and US sanctions experience
- Broker-dealer compliance experience
- Digital asset or crypto experience
- Chainalysis or equivalent blockchain analytics experience
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- CAMS or equivalent AML certification
- Mandatory regulatory qualifications and fitness and propriety assessments
Responsibilities
- Handle US AML obligations including SAR filing, CTR reporting, and FinCEN requirements
- Manage US sanctions compliance including OFAC screening, escalations, and reporting
- Support the US broker-dealer compliance programme
- Conduct AML and financial-crimes risk assessments for new products and tokens
- Support institutional client onboarding through KYC reviews and source-of-funds assessments
- Manage 314a and 314b requests and law-enforcement inquiries
- Support regulatory examinations and audits
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and other control functions
