About the Role
You will conduct detailed policy research, draft floor-ready legislative text, create executive-branch proposals and Federal Register filings, assess the feasibility of policy mechanisms, support the Head of Policy, and advocate recommendations with government, media, and nonprofit audiences.
Requirements
- Familiarity with AI national security risks, including loss of control, recursive self-improvement, catastrophic misuse, and rapid AI capability growth
- Legal, regulatory, Executive Branch, or Congressional background
- At least 5 years of effective policy advocacy across stakeholders
- Understanding of DC policy processes, communities, and mechanisms
