About the Role
You will support and deputize for the Chief Compliance Officer across US-registered entities. You will manage regulatory examinations and audits, maintain compliance policies, lead monitoring activities, support regulatory reporting, provide compliance guidance, and help develop AI-related regulatory frameworks.
Requirements
- Experience in a compliance role at a US-regulated financial services firm.
- Working knowledge of SEC, FINRA, FinCEN, BSA/AML, OFAC, and state-level requirements.
- Knowledge of compliance obligations for a FinCEN-registered Money Services Business.
- Working knowledge of digital asset and crypto-asset services regulation.
- Experience managing regulatory examinations, audits, findings, and remediation.
- Experience drafting compliance policies and procedures and operating compliance monitoring programs.
- Ability to communicate with senior leadership and build trust across legal, product, and finance.
- AI literacy and ability to assess regulatory implications of AI tools.
- Ability to develop junior team members and influence stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support and deputize for the Chief Compliance Officer.
- Manage regulatory examinations and audits.
- Coordinate responses to SEC, FINRA, FinCEN, and other regulatory inquiries.
- Draft, maintain, and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Design and execute the annual compliance monitoring plan.
- Track and remediate monitoring findings.
- Support FINRA filings and SEC reporting requirements.
- Provide actionable compliance guidance to business teams.
- Support regulatory frameworks for AI-powered products and features.
- Collaborate on compliance standards across jurisdictions.
- Mentor junior compliance team members.
