About the Role
You will conduct and review sanctions screening, customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, customer risk ranking, and AML alert investigations. You will support transaction monitoring, regulatory audits, client onboarding, and compliance-process improvements while using AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
Requirements
- Have experience conducting end-to-end KYC onboarding reviews
- Have experience in blockchain investigations and AML alert clearance
- Have at least 2 years of experience at a cryptocurrency firm
- Hold a bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
- Conduct and review OFAC screening, investigate false positives, escalate potential issues, file reports when required, and validate the sanctions screening tool
- Conduct customer due diligence, review customer risk rankings, perform enhanced due diligence, and escalate AML risks with mitigation recommendations
- Investigate, analyze, and identify AML alerts that may require suspicious activity reports
- Implement and support on-chain transaction monitoring and clear AML transaction-monitoring alerts
- Implement BSA/AML and OFAC procedures and recommend improvements
- Assist with regulatory audits and requests
- Ensure adherence to CDD, EDD, and transaction-monitoring processes
- Identify compliance and risk issues
- Assist institutional clients and investors during onboarding
- Provide client guidance through email and scheduled calls
- Use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality
