About the Role
You will lead US federal and state government-affairs strategy and may expand advocacy across Latin America. You will monitor AI policy and regulatory developments, develop responses to government initiatives, build relationships with policymakers and regulators, support public-sector growth, manage external partners, and oversee lobbying compliance.
Requirements
- Expertise in artificial intelligence policy, applications, risks, and technology regulation
- 10 to 15+ years of leadership experience in corporate government affairs and political or government roles
- Experience navigating US federal and state political and regulatory issues
- Written and verbal communication
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Lead US federal and state government-affairs strategy
- Monitor AI policy, regulatory issues, and legislative drafts
- Develop policy responses with cross-functional stakeholders
- Cultivate relationships with lawmakers, regulators, agencies, and trade bodies
- Translate technical and business objectives into policy advocacy
- Support public-sector sales and procurement policy efforts
- Manage government-relations consultants, lobbyists, and trade associations
- Oversee compliance with lobbying and political-activity laws
