About the Role
You will focus on Bitdeer's Clarington, Ohio datacenter project, working alongside existing Project Managers and taking responsibility for the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and budgeting through final execution. You'll make sure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, drawing on your background in both construction management and electrical engineering. You will report to the General Manager of the US Datacenter Business and collaborate closely with global teams to keep everything running smoothly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management
- Solid electrical background with hands-on experience in medium- and low-voltage power supply and distribution systems
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred
- Thorough understanding of construction contracts, compliance regulations, and architectural/engineering drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all team levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Highly organized with exceptional time management skills
- Proven ability to work flexibly and collaborate effectively within a diverse, global team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard project management software tools
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning by defining scope, developing detailed schedules, and establishing budgets in collaboration with clients, engineers, and executive leadership
- Manage the full contractor lifecycle, including selection, contract negotiation, and on-site supervision
- Ensure all work adheres to quality standards and design specifications
- Proactively mitigate project risks including budget deviations, schedule delays, and on-site emergencies
- Ensure all safety standards and compliance codes are strictly met
- Serve as the primary point of contact, providing regular project velocity updates and financial budget reports to internal cross-functional teams and leadership
- Foster and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Perform other related project and operational duties as assigned
