About the Role

You will drive cross-functional projects from planning through completion. You will turn priorities into clear plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, and measurable outcomes; establish operating rhythms; document decisions; identify risks and blockers; track OKRs and KPIs; build dashboards and reporting; communicate status and trade-offs; and improve processes and accountability. You will coordinate across functions and time zones while working independently in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in project management, program management, business operations, strategy and operations, PMO, or a similar cross-functional role
• Independently drive complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders
• Strong project management fundamentals including planning, prioritization, dependency management, risk management, and execution tracking
• Experience working closely with product or engineering teams
• Experience with OKRs, KPIs, performance tracking, or business review processes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong experience working in remote or distributed teams
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
• Coordinate across functions and time zones and proactively follow up
• Highly proactive and comfortable pushing for clarity and accountability
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to structure ambiguous problems
• Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment
• Ability to operate independently without detailed instructions
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
• Experience at a startup, scale-up, AI, cloud infrastructure, developer tools, or technology company is preferred
• Experience building project-management and communication processes for distributed teams is preferred
• Experience coordinating Chinese-speaking engineering teams and English-speaking business stakeholders is preferred
• Experience building project management or operating processes from the ground up is preferred
• Familiarity with Linear, Jira, Notion, Slack, or similar platforms is preferred
• Consulting or strategy experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional projects from planning through completion
• Translate priorities into project plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, and measurable outcomes
• Establish operating rhythms including project updates, decision logs, action tracking, and escalation processes
• Coordinate priorities, requirements, dependencies, and timelines across business, product, and engineering functions
• Document context, decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines
• Identify blockers, risks, and misalignment and resolve them with stakeholders
• Follow up on commitments and maintain clear ownership and accountability
• Support OKR and KPI setting, tracking, and review
• Build dashboards, trackers, and reporting processes
• Facilitate focused cross-functional meetings and establish clear decisions and next steps
• Improve internal processes, workflows, documentation, and communication
• Identify inefficiencies and unclear ownership and propose improvements
• Communicate project status, trade-offs, risks, and decisions to stakeholders
• Execute high-priority operational and strategic projects
