About the Role
You will work with business stakeholders to identify operational challenges and respond to regulatory and policy changes. You will define business processes and customer experiences for account opening identity verification customer procedures inquiries and risk management. You will create product requirements define functional details coordinate with designers and engineers and guide work through testing and release. You will establish KPIs measure impact and continuously improve products and processes using data and feedback.
Requirements
- 6 or more years of experience as a Product Manager or Systems Planning Manager
- Experience analyzing business processes and translating them into business and system requirements
- Ability to read API specifications and technical documentation and translate them into product requirements
- Native or business level Japanese proficiency
- Willingness to communicate in English using translation tools or generative AI
- Knowledge of banking operations including account opening identity verification AML/CFT lending inheritance procedures customer information updates and customer support
- Mobile application development experience
- Experience with growth hacking or growth focused product initiatives
- UI/UX design experience
- Experience leading data driven product development
- Business level English proficiency
Responsibilities
- Identify business challenges through stakeholder discussions and data analysis
- Prioritize product problems based on business impact and regulatory requirements
- Design end to end banking processes and customer experiences
- Create product requirements documents and define functional requirements
- Coordinate product design development testing and release
- Define KPIs and evaluate product release impact
- Improve products and business processes using data and feedback
