About the Role
You will set the technical direction for data handling, permissions, privacy, and AI governance. You will build and operate policy enforcement infrastructure, map data and permissions, lead user-rights operations, and hire and grow a privacy engineering team.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Experience in privacy engineering or data governance
- Working familiarity with GDPR and CCPA
- Engineering management experience with technical depth or Staff-level engineering experience
- Eligibility to work in the US
Responsibilities
- Build policy foundations for data handling, permitted uses, and AI
- Own data discovery, classification, and permissions mapping
- Design and operate governance controls for products, data platforms, models, and agents
- Lead verified user-rights operations for access, correction, deletion, and consent management
- Hire and grow a privacy engineering team
- Embed responsible data handling into new models and features
