About the Role
You will lead engineers responsible for collaboration and internal productivity platforms. You will set the roadmap, deliver platform projects and migrations, maintain secure and reliable operations, lead automation and AI initiatives, manage vendors, develop engineers, and contribute to architecture, code reviews, and integration design.
Requirements
- Engineering leadership experience for internal tooling, enterprise applications, or digital workplace platforms
- Complex project management and parallel delivery experience
- Experience operating enterprise collaboration platforms
- Architectural knowledge of productivity and enterprise platforms
- Experience with Atlassian, Slack Enterprise Grid, Google Workspace, or Zoom
- Familiarity with internal AI and LLM-enabled workflows
- Knowledge of identity and access management, data privacy, and compliance
- Security-first mindset
- Ability to communicate with technical teams, non-technical partners, and senior leaders
Responsibilities
- Set the short- and medium-term platform vision and roadmap
- Prioritize business requests against capacity and communicate trade-offs
- Guide projects from scoping and planning through delivery and rollout
- Establish project milestones, ownership, risk management, and progress reporting
- Coordinate platform launches, migrations, and enhancements
- Apply change management, communication, and training for platform changes
- Maintain secure, reliable, and scalable SaaS platforms
- Partner on identity, access governance, and data protection controls
- Lead automation and AI initiatives and integrate agentic workflows
- Oversee SaaS vendor relationships, licensing strategies, and contract renewals
- Mentor, support, and develop Enterprise Applications Engineers
- Lead hiring and shape team capabilities
- Maintain documentation, operational hygiene, and support escalation standards
- Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and integration designs
