About the Role
You will set technical direction for complex product systems and lead engineering leaders across multiple disciplines. You will improve delivery, team design, engineering standards, reliability, resilience, technical roadmaps, release cadence, and cross-functional execution.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years leading multi-tiered engineering teams of 50+ engineers at Director or VP level
- Experience leading engineering in large-scale product environments
- Experience delivering complex multi-team engineering programs
- Experience in high-availability, low-latency, or mission-critical domains
- Communication and stakeholder-influence skills
Responsibilities
- Improve alignment, ownership, decision-making, and delivery across engineering teams
- Refine engineering workflows, team structures, and operating rhythms
- Mentor, manage, and scale engineering managers and senior leaders
- Guide architecture and engineering decisions across complex product environments
- Champion software design, code health, automated testing, continuous deployment, and observability
- Ensure system availability, security, and resilience
- Translate strategy into executable technical roadmaps with product, design, operations, and security leaders
- Establish milestones, resolve execution risks, and implement release metrics
