About the Role
You will lead a globally distributed DevTools engineering team and own the continuous delivery model, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and self-service developer tooling. You will set technical direction, guide architecture reviews, improve platform reliability and incident response, and drive AI-enabled engineering automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering management experience leading platform, CI/CD, DevTools, or infrastructure teams
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java, Groovy, Python, or shell scripting
- Experience implementing AI-assisted engineering workflows or automation
- Expertise with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS
- Experience operating developer platforms supporting 100+ engineers
- Experience defining SLAs and SLOs and driving tooling adoption
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled capabilities in developer tooling and pipelines
- Set technical direction for continuous delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and build systems
- Provide architectural oversight and lead design reviews
- Develop self-service tooling and automated developer workflows
- Establish proactive alerting, observability, incident response, and root-cause analysis practices
- Lead, mentor, and grow distributed senior and staff engineers
