About the Role
You will define and execute the technical strategy, lead product engineering delivery, and manage and mentor engineers. You will oversee scalable, secure, low-latency platform architecture, improve engineering processes and infrastructure, ensure compliance and security, and advance technologies for digital asset exchange capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience
- Experience leading broker-dealer trading platforms or comparable financial systems
- Experience building highly available, low-latency, high-performance financial applications
- Software architecture expertise
- Microservices, API, and distributed systems knowledge
- Ruby, Python, Go, Java, or C++ experience
- AWS, GCP, or Azure experience
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Blockchain, smart contract, and digital asset transaction systems knowledge
- DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring experience
- Engineering leadership and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision and platform strategy
- Lead engineering teams to build scalable and secure exchange features
- Create and refine the engineering roadmap
- Manage, mentor, and recruit engineers
- Oversee the product engineering lifecycle
- Lead architecture and design for scalable low-latency systems
- Improve platform scalability, availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery
- Implement engineering practices including testing, continuous integration, and monitoring
- Ensure security, AML, KYC, and regulatory compliance
- Evaluate emerging fintech, blockchain, and exchange technologies
- Establish engineering processes and performance metrics
