About the Role
You will lead complex launch programs for established banks across Germany and Europe. You will own end-to-end delivery from scoping through implementation and migrations, coordinate engineering, product, operations, compliance and legal workstreams, manage risks and trade-offs, run executive steering sessions, and ensure tested, zero-defect go-lives. You will also standardize launch and migration processes and mentor Launch Managers.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading complex multi-entity programs for tier-1 banks or large financial institutions
- Experience in custody, brokerage, post-trade or securities operations
- Experience in management consulting is preferred
- Expertise in end-to-end project management
- Strong project and communication skills
- Risk management experience
- Ability to define and align technical and business requirements
- Experience managing custody transfers of equities, ETFs and mutual funds
- Fluency in English and German
- Knowledge of post-trade and custody processes
- Knowledge of SWIFT MT, SWIFT MX or ISO 20022
- Experience with in-specie or on-book transfers, large-scale data and asset migrations, reconciliation and structured cutovers
- Knowledge of MiFID II, CSDR, AML/KYC and outsourcing guidelines
- Experience with legacy platforms and modern APIs
Responsibilities
- Own complex bank-grade programs end to end
- Support or own custody asset migrations from incumbent custodians
- Plan, execute and test projects
- Lead securities integration and migration projects
- Coordinate Engineering, Product, Operations and Compliance
- Remove blockers and manage scope, timelines and risks
- Run steering sessions with senior client stakeholders
- Build trusted client relationships
- Manage post-migration reconciliation
- Standardize enterprise client launch and migration processes
- Mentor Launch Managers
