About the Role

You will source, evaluate, and execute venture investments across Seed, Series A, and select Pre-Seed and Growth-stage opportunities. You will lead diligence, prepare investment recommendations, build relationships across the venture ecosystem, support portfolio companies, maintain investment information, and contribute to fundraising and community initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of overall professional experience
  • 1–3 or more years of direct venture capital experience
  • Experience with sourcing, diligence, investment decision-making, and portfolio support
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of venture capital deal structures, financing terms, investment processes, and industry practices
  • Ability to evaluate company teams, business models, market opportunities, competitive positioning, and growth potential
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini

Responsibilities

  • Source investment opportunities aligned with the Blue Team's strategy
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective investments
  • Develop relationships with founders, venture investors, entrepreneurs, and ecosystem partners
  • Lead initial diligence on potential investments
  • Evaluate teams, business models, markets, competition, traction, financing terms, and investment risks
  • Develop investment memos and present recommendations to the Investment Committee
  • Maintain market, company, and deal intelligence
  • Execute approved investments through closing
  • Maintain deal activity, diligence findings, and investment information in firm systems
  • Grow and leverage a network to access differentiated deal flow
  • Support portfolio companies through strategic and operational priorities
  • Monitor company and portfolio performance
  • Support fundraising, investor relations, and community engagement initiatives
  • Contribute to events, webinars, written content, and thought leadership
