About the Role

You will bring payroll in-house and manage end-to-end payroll processing across all pay cycles. You will ensure accurate, timely payments, maintain payroll compliance, manage providers, reconcile payroll to the general ledger, and build scalable policies, controls, documentation, and automation.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of payroll experience
• End-to-end payroll ownership at a high-growth company
• Multi-state payroll compliance knowledge
• Experience with payroll systems and third-party providers
• Payroll accounting and general-ledger reconciliation skills
• Experience using AI and automation for payroll
• Authorization to work in the US
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing across all pay cycles
• Manage federal, state, and local payroll compliance
• Partner on onboarding, compensation changes, benefits, equity-related payroll, and offboarding
• Manage third-party payroll providers and reconcile payroll to the general ledger
• Build scalable payroll policies, controls, and documentation
• Apply AI and automation to improve payroll speed and accuracy
