About the Role

You will own and scale global payroll across accounting and operations. You will build payroll systems, processes, and team infrastructure for a growing international workforce. You will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll across jurisdictions while partnering with Finance, Legal, HR, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive payroll experience
• At least 3 years of senior or leadership experience overseeing multi-country payroll operations
• Payroll accounting expertise, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close
• Experience managing payroll across multiple jurisdictions, including the United States
• Knowledge of local tax, labor, and statutory compliance requirements
• Experience improving payroll processes and systems in a high-growth or scaling company
• Proficiency with payroll platforms and HRIS integrations
• Experience partnering with Finance and Accounting to ensure payroll data integrity and support audits
• CPP or equivalent certification
• Experience establishing payroll operations in new countries or regions
• Knowledge of equity-compensation payroll treatment
• Experience at a high-growth startup or technology company
• Knowledge of employer-of-record and contractor payroll models
