About the Role

You will help shape US public health engagement and manage a portfolio of flagship partnerships across federal, state, and local levels. You will source and onboard partners, translate needs into deployment plans, coordinate delivery, build evidence, create shared resources, and represent the work externally.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in US public health, health policy, or public-sector health innovation
• 5+ years managing external partnerships, multi-stakeholder initiatives, or programs spanning government and civil society
• Relationships and credibility in the US public health ecosystem
• Understanding of public health agency operations, funding, and technology adoption
• Technical fluency in AI concepts and LLM capabilities and limitations
• Program or portfolio-building experience in early-stage environments
• An MPH or related credential

Responsibilities

• Contribute to US public health strategy and identify priority partners and use cases
• Own flagship partnership deployments and coordinate internal stakeholders
• Source, evaluate, and onboard partners
• Structure engagements around government procurement, data governance, and privacy constraints
• Translate partner needs into deployment plans
• Support shared resources and digital public goods for responsible AI use
• Partner with academic and evaluation organizations to build evidence
• Represent the work at public health convenings and with funders and policymakers
• Improve team processes and route opportunities to suitable sales or public-sector motions
• Travel to partner sites and San Francisco headquarters
