About the Role
You will work side-by-side with a partner team on engaging customer-oriented meetings, demonstrations, and proofs of concept that articulate the business and technical value of identity solutions. You will enable partners and support them in active engagements with prospects and customers, rapidly understanding identity problems, prototyping full stack solutions, and implementing them as reusable assets. You will foster close relationships with delivery partners, deliver technical learning events, identify and close enablement gaps, and provide pre-sales technical guidance such as product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical workshops. You will travel up to 30% of the time, typically less.
Requirements
- 4+ years in customer facing professional services or presales positions
- Strong base of system integrator industry knowledge
- Ability to develop and nurture relationships with System Integrators and partner teams
- Ability to rapidly innovate through development of mobile and web applications, APIs and platform configuration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a high level of self-direction and collaboratively with other teams
- Competency with scripting languages such as JavaScript and Groovy, RESTful web services and web development frameworks such as Node.js and Vue.js
- Willingness to learn mobile and hybrid frameworks
- Experience developing and delivering technical presentations, workshops, customized demonstrations and proofs of concept
- Experience working with IAM solutions in or with enterprise organizations
- Experience with installation and configuration of one or more IAM technologies such as Ping Identity, CA, Oracle, IBM or Micro Focus
- Working knowledge of IAM protocols and formats such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, JSON, XML and SQL
- General networking knowledge such as TCP/IP, HTTP/S, routing, load balancers and proxies
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure
Responsibilities
- Foster close relationships with delivery partners to support the technical sales relationship
- Support partner teams to understand and deliver enablement to drive business goals
- Share knowledge and collaborate closely with the Field SE team
- Become familiar with marketing events, solution and sales training, joint solution development and joint account sales activities
- Support partner technical learning events across supported sales regions including solution presentations, whiteboarding and demonstrations
- Identify gaps in partner enablement and create and execute plans to close those gaps
- Provide pre-sales technical guidance to partners including product demonstrations, proofs of concept and technical workshops
- Enable partner teams to achieve customer wins during qualification, discovery and technical proof phases
- Travel up to 30% of the time
