About the Role
You will design, deploy, and operate wired, wireless, and cloud-connected networks. You will deliver office network infrastructure, improve observability and automation, implement secure access and segmentation, coordinate vendors and carriers, and troubleshoot network issues across clients, RF, switching, routing, applications, and providers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating enterprise or campus networks, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience operating networks in a hypergrowth startup
- Depth in wireless RF engineering and enterprise switching and routing
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, routing protocols, VPN, zero-trust remote access, and OSI troubleshooting
- Experience designing for high availability, fault isolation, capacity, and scale
- Experience with network performance monitoring, telemetry, alerting, and analytics
- Experience automating network operations with programming or scripting, APIs, infrastructure-as-code, Git, or CI/CD
- Knowledge of network security and identity controls including IEEE 802.1X, NAC, AAA, RBAC, segmentation, and IDS/IPS
- Experience coordinating carriers, contractors, and vendors
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate wired and wireless networks across offices, branches, and campus environments
- Optimize RF and build resilient network architectures
- Deliver network infrastructure for offices, expansions, and moves
- Build secure connectivity across offices, cloud infrastructure, and application environments
- Create reference architectures, standards, capacity models, inventories, diagrams, runbooks, and deployment playbooks
- Implement network monitoring, observability, telemetry, and analytics
- Develop network scripts, tooling, and data pipelines
- Automate network configuration and deployment with infrastructure-as-code, APIs, source control, and CI/CD
- Implement identity-aware access, segmentation, certificate authentication, and least-privilege administration
- Partner on firewalls, threat detection, remote access, and incident response
- Troubleshoot network issues using packet analysis and telemetry
- Coordinate carriers, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders
