About the Role
You will design, validate, and operate resilient OT network architectures for high-density AI data centers. You will define standards, develop network designs, evaluate suppliers, support commissioning, manage network lifecycle requirements, and troubleshoot complex controls-network issues.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant controls engineering, industrial automation, OT networking, or critical infrastructure experience
- Expertise in resilient OT network architecture, implementation, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support
- Experience with OT and IT boundary design, firewall policy, redundant topology, and monitoring
- Hands-on Layer 3 design experience with routing, VRFs, ACLs, and segmentation
- Hands-on Layer 2 switching and security controls experience
- Experience designing resilient industrial and infrastructure network topologies
- Experience with industrial networking equipment and firewalls
- Experience with network management and observability platforms
- Experience with industrial Ethernet, VPN, IPsec, and secure remote access
- Experience with virtualized OT or controls server environments
- Experience with OT protocols and technical design documentation
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline
Responsibilities
- Define controls, automation, and OT network requirements
- Develop reference architectures, engineering standards, and design templates
- Develop OT network diagrams, IP and VLAN schemes, telemetry architectures, and commissioning requirements
- Design physical and logical network topologies, routing, switching, segmentation, monitoring, and remote access
- Develop network operations, configuration, monitoring, firmware, rollback, and validation requirements
- Define integration patterns and protocol requirements
- Lead technical evaluations of integrators, suppliers, consultants, contractors, and commissioning agents
- Review equipment submittals, configurations, test reports, and quality documentation
- Support factory testing, site acceptance testing, failover testing, and integrated systems testing
- Troubleshoot controls network failures
