About the Role
You'll join a high-growth sales team selling an award-winning market intelligence product into mid-market corporate accounts. You'll cold call and prospect new business, run technical demonstrations, manage product trials, and close deals end to end. You'll build and forecast pipeline to consistently hit your targets, collaborate closely with the Product Specialist team to ensure client engagement during trials, and share client feedback with the sales and product teams to help shape future product offerings.
Requirements
- Experience selling into corporate vertical markets such as Technology, Media and Telecoms, Consumer Packaged Goods, Life Sciences, Professional Services or Energy and Industrial markets
- Experience in SaaS sales, preferably focused on financial information and/or research solutions
- Ability to build pipeline, manage a high volume of product trials, and lead complex negotiations
- Strong communication skills, including explaining complex financial data to a non-financial audience
- Knowledge of personas sold into, including Corporate Strategy, Market Intelligence, Business Development, M&A, and Investor Relations functions
- Coachable with openness to feedback and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Cold call and prospect corporate intelligence departments in a full 360 sales role
- Research opportunities and initiate discussions with prospects
- Build relationships and conduct product demonstrations
- Manage product trials and close new business deals
- Forecast accurately and develop pipeline to meet or exceed quota
- Work closely with the Product Specialist team during trials to ensure client engagement and purchase
- Gather and distribute product feedback from clients and prospects to sales and product teams
