About the Role
Own the measurement layer end to end, including tag manager configuration, tracking and attribution scripts, server-to-server conversion tracking, consent enforcement, event standards, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Google Tag Manager experience including server-side GTM
- Server-to-server conversion API experience
- Attribution debugging experience
- Web performance knowledge
- Consent and privacy requirements knowledge
- SQL
Responsibilities
- Own the tag manager setup and server-side GTM container
- Fix tracking bugs and configure tracking for landing pages and campaigns
- Build and maintain server-to-server conversion tracking
- Validate pixel and server deduplication
- Improve tracking script performance and correctness
- Enforce consent handling and regional restrictions
- Define event schemas and UTM conventions
- Build monitoring and alerting for the measurement stack
- Review conversion-event pull requests
- Work with product engineering on tracking integrations
