About the Role

You will analyse complex financial requirements, design and build high-availability systems, APIs, interfaces, and user-facing financial tools. You will ensure code is secure, reusable, maintainable, and performant; write and review code and tests; resolve technical issues; collaborate across projects; mentor new starters; and support technical training and delivery leadership.

Requirements

  • First-class bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience delivering technology change on large-scale technology projects.
  • Ability to lead in a delivery-focused environment.
  • Experience working with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Expertise in .NET, C#, and SQL Server.
  • Expertise in ASP.NET, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
  • Familiarity with financial products and markets.
  • Understanding of web services.
  • Familiarity with code analysis or automated testing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Define technical designs for features and user stories.
  • Design and build APIs and external system interfaces.
  • Translate complex financial requirements into secure, high-availability systems.
  • Design and implement intuitive user interfaces and financial tools.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, reusable, maintainable, and performant.
  • Build complex features end to end.
  • Follow code management, review, coding, naming, and security standards.
  • Write automated unit tests for newly created code.
  • Perform manual testing and code reviews.
  • Mentor new starters on the platform and SDLC.
  • Provide technical training and share best practices.
  • Resolve technical issues that impede development progress.
  • Analyse, design, maintain, test, and support ETL workflows for data migrations.
