About the Role
You will create and maintain end-to-end production test protocols, gating criteria, and provisioning flows for robots. You will own production quality metrics, build automated test infrastructure, lead root-cause analysis, coordinate corrective actions, train operators, debug production-line failures, and refine manufacturing processes onsite.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of production or test engineering experience with complex electromechanical products
- Own end-to-end production test processes and provisioning at a contract manufacturer
- Develop test specifications, fixtures, automated tests, and validations
- Provision and validate firmware for sensors and compute systems
- Understand systems integration, sensors, embedded compute, networking, and provisioning
- Debug hardware, firmware, and system software failures
- Use production KPIs, statistical process control, and metrics reporting
- Work onsite full-time at a contract manufacturer
- Travel as needed
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain production test protocols and gating criteria
- Design and operate robot provisioning flows
- Own first-pass yield, cycle time, and test coverage metrics
- Drive production quality and throughput improvements
- Architect and maintain automated test frameworks, harnesses, and test rigs
- Lead root-cause analysis for production and field failures
- Coordinate corrective actions with design, firmware, and contract manufacturer engineering
- Train operators and debug production-line failures
- Refine processes with contract manufacturing partners
