About the Role
You will lead material planners and establish planning processes that keep production supplied while optimizing inventory. You will manage supplier risks, material readiness for product launches, ERP and MRP planning, performance metrics, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 8+ years of material planning, supply planning, inventory management, production planning, or supply chain operations experience
- 3+ years of direct people-management experience
- Experience with MRP, inventory planning, supply planning, and replenishment
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Excel and data visualization experience
- Experience managing supplier risks and cross-functional priorities
- Lean manufacturing or continuous-improvement experience
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop material planners
- Develop and execute material planning strategy
- Manage inventory health, safety stock, reorder points, and obsolete materials
- Identify supplier constraints and develop recovery plans
- Align material availability with production schedules
- Coordinate material readiness for new product introductions
- Use ERP and MRP systems for requirements and supply planning
- Track supply-chain performance and drive corrective actions
- Develop scalable planning processes and reporting
