About the Role
Lead, mentor, and coach account managers responsible for strategic merchant relationships and payments revenue. The role includes supporting negotiations and escalations, hiring and retaining talent, monitoring commercial objectives, reporting performance, collaborating on merchant needs, driving operational initiatives, and managing key merchants.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in account management, sales, consulting, or a related field
- 3+ years of team management experience
- Experience working with enterprise merchants or customers
- Bachelor's degree
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Strong negotiation, leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Payments experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Motivate team members and identify training needs
- Coach account managers on strategic account planning, contract negotiations, product roadmap discussions, and executive engagement
- Build C-level relationships and support merchant escalations and critical negotiations
- Hire, develop, and retain diverse talent
- Define and monitor Commercial OKRs and report executive-level performance metrics
- Communicate Singapore merchant needs and feedback to headquarters
- Drive automation and commercial tool initiatives
- Create an inspiring, collaborative team environment
- Manage key merchants
