About the Role
You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical, material-handling, and automated equipment, as well as buildings and grounds. You will prioritize repairs, document work and parts usage, maintain inventory, interpret technical documentation, follow safety procedures, and attend assigned training.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- 3 years of maintenance and repair experience in industrial equipment, structures, or facilities
- Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedures
- Ability to use Google Suite, Slack, Microsoft Visual Studio, command prompts, Click Up, and other software applications
- Ability to work on call, standby, overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to meet physical requirements for warehouse maintenance work
Responsibilities
- Prioritize daily maintenance tasks and assignments with management and lead technicians
- Repair machines, tools, building infrastructure, and grounds equipment
- Inspect, evaluate, and repair mechanical equipment
- Enter completed work into work orders and track tasks
- Communicate with on-site and international personnel to obtain repair information
- Maintain records of work performed, parts used, and time taken
- Interpret specifications, diagrams, manuals, and standard operating procedures
- Identify equipment problems and recommend ways to minimize them
- Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and replacement parts
- Follow safety procedures, codes, and guidelines
- Attend assigned training and safety sessions
