About the Role
You will own inbound logistics and delivery scheduling for major data center equipment. You will plan heavy-haul movements manage vendors carriers and freight terms coordinate site deliveries resolve shipping issues and report risks against project schedules.
Requirements
- 6+ years of project logistics traffic or expediting experience for major capital projects
- Heavy-haul experience with permits routing studies escorts and rigging interfaces for 100000-500000+ pound loads
- Experience tracking factory milestones coordinating FAT logistics and holding OEMs accountable to ship dates
- Knowledge of Incoterms carrier contracts cargo insurance and claims
- Customs and import experience for international equipment is a plus
- Strong scheduling skills and experience working with P6-driven need-date lists
- Proficiency with logistics tracking tools and Excel
- ERP experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel to factories ports and project sites as needed typically 25-40%

- Select and manage freight forwarders carriers and heavy-haul specialists
- Manage freight terms insurance customs brokerage and import compliance
- Sequence deliveries with site installation needs and constraints
- Resolve shipping damage shortages mis-deliveries and storage issues
- Report logistics risks and expediting actions
- Build logistics procedures preferred-carrier guidance and delivery requirements
