About the Role

You will take hands-on ownership of warehouse and inventory operations at the Vancouver site. You will receive, store, track, count, kit, and move materials; maintain accurate inventory records and traceability; prepare shipments and transfers; identify shortages and delivery risks; and improve warehouse processes. You will maintain a safe, organised stores environment and support colleagues in following warehouse procedures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on warehouse, stores, inventory-control, or material-operations experience in a technical industry
  • Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, production, or prototype/R&D environments
  • Experience supporting prototype builds, NPI, or low-volume, high-complexity production
  • Inventory control, cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and variance-investigation experience
  • Experience kitting and issuing materials against BOMs and build schedules
  • Ability to work with BOMs, part numbers, technical documentation, and engineering drawings
  • Experience handling technical components and assemblies with traceability
  • Excel or Google Sheets skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and inventory reporting
  • Knowledge of receiving, storage, stock movement, traceability, and inventory accuracy
  • Ability to handle items up to 23 kg / 50 lb

Responsibilities

  • Own receiving, storage, inventory control, cycle counting, kitting, and material movement
  • Maintain an organised stores area, location structure, labelling system, and material flow
  • Receive deliveries, verify materials against purchase orders, inspect materials, and record receipts
  • Maintain real-time inventory records in JIRA and inventory-tracking systems
  • Handle ESD-sensitive, high-value, serialized, and lot-controlled components with traceability
  • Run cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Monitor inventory levels and safety-stock requirements
  • Pick, stage, and deliver kits against BOMs and build schedules
  • Identify material shortages and build risks early
  • Manage material issues, returns, transfers, scrap, quarantined stock, and supplier returns
  • Prepare outbound shipments and inter-site transfers with customs documentation
  • Track critical shipments and escalate delays
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse using 5S principles
  • Support asset tracking for tools, fixtures, and equipment
  • Maintain inventory reports, count plans, and variance analysis
  • Improve receiving, storage, inventory, kitting, and material-flow processes
  • Support colleagues in following warehouse and inventory procedures
