About the Role
You will own demand forecasts and turn deployment plans into supply, build, and inventory plans for data center hardware. You will align capacity, lead times, components, logistics, and deployment schedules; run integrated planning reviews; surface risks and trade-offs; develop contingency plans; and establish scalable planning processes, metrics, reporting, and tools.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, supply chain, or materials planning for hardware
- Direct experience planning systems, racks, or complex hardware assemblies
- Experience building demand forecasts and translating them into supply, build, and inventory plans
- Understanding of BOM structures, lead times, and component constraints
- Experience working with ODMs, OEMs, or contract manufacturers
- Experience with S&OP or an equivalent integrated planning process
- Analytical and financial acumen, including forecasting, inventory optimization, scenario modeling, and advanced spreadsheets
- Experience with ERP and planning systems
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate risks and trade-offs
- Ability to build processes in a fast-growth environment
Responsibilities
- Own demand forecasts for the assigned hardware portfolio
- Build and maintain forecast models, scenarios, and accuracy tracking
- Convert demand into supply and build plans for systems, racks, and networking equipment
- Align manufacturing capacity and lead times with demand
- Coordinate component availability, procurement timing, logistics, and deliveries
- Run or contribute to the infrastructure S&OP cycle
- Manage inventory targets, safety stock, and working-capital exposure
- Identify, quantify, and mitigate supply risks
- Build contingency, recovery, and scenario plans
- Design planning processes, governance, metrics, reporting, and tools
- Partner with sourcing, commodity management, operations, engineering, finance, and go-to-market stakeholders
