About the Role
You will independently manage litigation and pre-litigation disputes, direct outside counsel, and advise leadership on litigation risk and strategy. You will build litigation processes and tools, support regulatory inquiries, track relevant legal developments, and mentor team members through active matters.
Requirements
- JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Experience litigating copyright, class action, securities, or regulatory matters
- Knowledge of complex civil litigation practice, procedure, discovery, and court rules
- Experience independently setting case strategy, managing discovery, writing legal briefs, and directing outside counsel
- Ability to communicate litigation risk and strategy to non-legal audiences
Responsibilities
- Manage litigation, regulatory, commercial, intellectual property, and securities matters
- Direct outside counsel through all stages of litigation
- Manage disputes and escalations to reduce business risk
- Advise leadership on litigation risk and resolution strategy
- Design litigation processes, policies, and tools
- Support regulatory investigations and inquiries
- Monitor relevant laws, litigation trends, and AI-related case law
- Mentor team members on active matters
