About the Role
You will build AI-powered legal products with engineers and product managers. You will translate legal judgment and legal processes into decisions, rules, workflows, exceptions, and escalation points for AI agents. You will develop examples, evaluations, test cases, and feedback loops; test and improve agent performance; identify failure modes and edge cases; and prototype legal capabilities using AI tools.
Requirements
- Lawyer with 4+ years of substantive training and experience
- Demonstrated ability to identify breakdowns in legal workflows and propose or build improvements
- Ability to translate legal judgment into actionable requirements for technical teams
- Strong written communication skills and judgment
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered legal products alongside engineers and product managers
- Translate legal processes into decisions, rules, workflows, exceptions, and escalation points for AI agents
- Develop examples, evaluation criteria, test cases, and feedback loops for legal agents
- Test agent performance against real-world scenarios and improve outputs with engineers
- Identify ambiguity, edge cases, conflicting information, and situations requiring human judgment
- Prototype legal capabilities using AI tools, prompts, workflows, and agent behavior
