About the Role
You will drive product compliance for upcoming products and manage daily commercial contract reviews. You will research financial regulations and card scheme rules across target markets, conduct pre-launch compliance reviews, and ensure payment features, workflows, and terms meet regulatory standards. You will also review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, NDAs, and merchant onboarding terms. You will maintain internal compliance documentation, customer terms of service, and operational procedures in line with local regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of compliance, regulatory, or legal operations experience in Fintech, Payments, Acquiring, or B2B Financial Services
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Fluent Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment
Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate financial regulations, card scheme rules, FX requirements, and B2B lending requirements across international markets
- Conduct end-to-end product compliance reviews before launch
- Ensure payment features, workflows, and terms meet regulatory standards
