About the Role

You will provide legal support for new payment and financial services from the planning stage. You will research financial and industry regulations, respond to legal consultations from business units, review and negotiate English-language contracts, and support the establishment and operation of a US subsidiary.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of legal department experience at a payment, financial, or IT company, or corporate legal experience serving such companies at a law firm
  • Business-level English proficiency, including practical English use and communication with overseas offices

Responsibilities

  • Assess legal issues for new businesses and services, including contract reviews
  • Research financial and industry regulations
  • Respond to legal consultations from business units
  • Support the establishment and operation of the US subsidiary
  • Review and negotiate contracts in English
  • Communicate and coordinate with overseas members and external specialists in English
