About the Role
You will develop and scale legal operations processes across multiple portfolio teams. You will manage contract lifecycle management, legal technology, outside counsel billing, budgets, and knowledge management. You will identify and implement AI and automation opportunities, integrate legal platforms with business systems, establish shared operational practices, and report on legal workflow performance.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of legal operations experience, preferably in a technology company, startup, or high-growth environment.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management systems, commercial contracting workflows, and legal technology platforms.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects, improving operational processes, and implementing scalable solutions.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities independently across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the contract lifecycle management platform and improve commercial contracting processes.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-powered tools and automation for legal workflows.
- Integrate legal technology platforms with business systems using APIs, structured data, and automation.
- Partner with legal, finance, business development, revenue, marketing, and compliance stakeholders to develop scalable processes.
- Establish consistent legal intake, contracting, documentation, and prioritization processes.
- Manage legal vendors, outside counsel, and technology providers.
- Manage invoice collection and payment, budgeting, forecasting, outside counsel billing, and spending trends.
- Support legal team onboarding, learning and development, offsites, knowledge management, and records management.
- Develop reporting for legal requests, contract status, turnaround times, and operational performance.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
