About the Role
You will manage partnership contracts from intake through signature and post-signature obligations. You will maintain contract repositories and obligation tracking, develop legal operations tools and templates, support vendor and compliance operations, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
Requirements
- Be legally trained as a qualified lawyer or hold an equivalent law degree
- Have 5 to 8 years of commercial contracting experience, including in-house experience at a fast-growing technology company
- Have independently negotiated partnership, integration, or licensing agreements on both company and counterparty paper
- Have US-style commercial drafting experience
- Have built legal operations tools and processes
- Use AI tools for prompts, skills, document workflow automation, and legal review decisions
- Work with Finance on payment mechanics, milestones, and budgets
- Use a CRM as a source of truth
- Communicate clearly with non-lawyers
- Work across European and US Eastern time zones
Responsibilities
- Manage the partnership deal desk, including intake, NDAs, drafting, negotiation, signature packs, and signing summaries
- Maintain a contract repository linked to the CRM and track post-signature obligations
- Build legal operations infrastructure, including playbooks, templates, FAQs, AI workflows, budget tracking, and throughput reporting
- Manage vendor and compliance operations, including vendor terms, renewals, insurance, due diligence, questionnaires, policies, and data rooms
- Support corporate housekeeping and employment, IP, and privacy matters as capacity allows
- Collaborate with Partnerships, Finance, RevOps, BizOps, and outside counsel
