About the Role

You will be the first dedicated recruiting hire, running high-touch, full-cycle recruitment and delivering exceptional candidate experiences. You will partner with founders to define roles and personas, source talent beyond LinkedIn, build employer branding, work across time zones, track hiring metrics, and negotiate offers and equity.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally focused on AI, Machine Learning, or Data Infrastructure
  • Startup mindset and comfort working in high-ambiguity Series A environments
  • Technical literacy to distinguish ML Engineer, Data Engineer, and Software Engineer and discuss LLMs and data curation
  • Proven ability to source hard-to-find technical talent
  • Data-driven approach to tracking pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and time-to-hire
  • High emotional intelligence and strong negotiation skills for senior-level offers
  • Experience with modern ATS platforms (Ashby) and sourcing tools (Juicebox Gem, TopFunnel)
  • Ability to operate independently as an initial recruiting hire

  • Manage high-touch full-cycle recruitment
  • Partner with founders and senior leaders to define roles and hiring personas
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies beyond LinkedIn
  • Build and communicate employer branding and candidate-facing messaging
  • Deliver world-class candidate experience from screening through offer
  • Coordinate hiring across global time zones
  • Track pipeline health and hiring metrics and iterate on processes
  • Lead compensation and equity conversations and negotiations
