About the Role
You will own the vertical go-to-market model, set portfolio strategy and business metrics, become an industry expert, influence the product roadmap, develop cross-product narratives, lead market programs, enable Sales, manage operating cadence, and build customer and partner feedback loops.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in B2B software marketing, product marketing, industry marketing, growth, sales strategy, or strategic GTM
- Experience building GTM strategy for an industry or workflow-heavy market
- Familiarity with construction, A&E, accounting, ERP, nonprofits, public sector, procurement, accounts payable, or financial operations
- Experience influencing product strategy with market and funnel evidence
- Experience owning integrated B2B campaigns
- Data literacy across pipeline, conversion, win rate, attach, adoption, and channel performance
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional senior partners without formal authority
- Experience using AI tools for research, analysis, writing, and operations
Responsibilities
- Set the vertical portfolio strategy
- Define the business scorecard for each priority vertical
- Analyze financial workflows, buying dynamics, regulations, technology ecosystems, and competition
- Translate market evidence into product requirements
- Build industry-specific cross-product narratives
- Define ICP, positioning, claims, proof, channels, launches, sales motions, and adoption plans
- Lead webinars, customer sessions, partner events, and executive conversations
- Build sales plays, competitive guidance, proof, and demos
- Run the cross-functional operating cadence
- Build customer and partner feedback loops
- Create the verticalization playbook
