About the Role

You will define and execute the enterprise AI and automation strategy for internal employee-facing platforms. You will identify high-value use cases, translate them into functional and technical requirements, prioritize the AI portfolio, and manage a visible initiative backlog. You will evaluate AI tools, configure agents, run pilots, select and manage vendors, and partner with engineering through delivery, QA, UAT, deployment, and stabilization. You will lead rollout and change-management activities, build an AI Champion Network and Community of Practice, and establish metrics, governance guardrails, and regular leadership reporting.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of IT product management experience
  • At least 2 years focused on AI or emerging technology products
  • Understanding of AI capabilities including summarization, classification, generation, and agentic workflows
  • Experience delivering internal AI systems, platforms, or automation workflows
  • Experience managing product backlogs, defects, and enhancement roadmaps for enterprise applications or internal platforms
  • Ability to prioritize against business outcomes in a resource-constrained environment
  • Ability to influence business, finance, legal, and security stakeholders
  • Ability to evaluate AI platforms, configure agents, and troubleshoot AI tooling
  • Change management experience
  • Experience with no-code or low-code AI platforms such as Workato
  • Fintech or regulated-industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Define the enterprise AI and automation strategy, responsible AI principles, governance frameworks, and adoption roadmap
  • Identify and prioritize high-value AI and automation use cases across business units
  • Map enterprise workflows to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements
  • Define functional and technical requirements for internal AI and automation platforms
  • Ensure AI platforms and solutions adhere to IT standards and governance frameworks
  • Lead the Plan and Commit process for AI and automation technology requests
  • Prioritize automation projects based on strategic alignment, risk reduction, ROI, and operational impact
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and cost-benefit analyses for proposed AI initiatives
  • Maintain a visible backlog of AI and automation initiatives
  • Oversee QA and UAT processes before deployment
  • Participate in sprint demos and validate acceptance criteria
  • Coordinate deployment windows and establish hypercare programs for major go-lives
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and run pilots
  • Lead vendor selection, commercial negotiations, and ongoing vendor management for enterprise AI tooling
  • Execute the enterprise AI rollout plan and drive change management
  • Establish and manage an AI Champion Network and Community of Practice
  • Define adoption metrics and post-launch stabilization plans
  • Design and own the enterprise AI metrics framework
  • Report program progress and outcomes to senior leadership
  • Establish governance guardrails for responsible and compliant AI use
