About the Role
You will run complex projects from design and development through production, define requirements, plan project lifecycles, manage resources and schedules, oversee engineering teams, mitigate risks, resolve issues, maintain documentation, and coordinate project administration and communications.
Requirements
- 7 or more years managing complex large-scale software development projects
- Strong understanding of computer technologies and technical risk management
- Experience with Agile and the software development lifecycle
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing distributed teams
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Motivation, self-direction, flexibility, and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and business communication skills
- Understanding of Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Ability to work securely from home using an Apple Mac device
Responsibilities
- Run complex projects and programs from design to production
- Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment
- Define resources and schedules for project implementation
- Create risk mitigation and contingency plans
- Plan project deliverables, goals, and milestones
- Direct and oversee the project engineering team
- Manage conflicts and perform team assessments
- Identify and resolve project issues
- Design and maintain technical and project documentation
- Improve customer support issue tracking using JIRA and Confluence
- Coordinate communications and project administration
- Facilitate meetings and perform administrative tasks
- Ensure timely completion of project tasks
