About the Role
You are an IT Administrator who will manage and secure the core IT infrastructure, SaaS ecosystem, and endpoint environment. You will own identity and access management processes, maintain device management platforms, support network operations, and drive automation initiatives across the organization. This role is based in NYC and requires in-person work from the HQ four days per week.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as Systems Administrator or IT Administrator.
- Google Workspace administration: 3+ years of hands-on administration experience.
- Identity Providers IdP: 3+ years of experience managing Okta including lifecycle workflows group management and access provisioning.
- SaaS and integrations: Experience setting up SSO and SCIM integrations between IAM platforms and SaaS apps.
- MDM tools: Solid experience with Jamf or Kandji for MacOS.
- Networking: Knowledge of UniFi environments (APs, switches, VLANs, WiFi).
- Automation: Experience with Zapier or scripting/code to automate SaaS workflows.
- Soft skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a methodical approach to independent troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field (Nice to have).
- Certifications: Okta Certified Professional/Administrator; Google Workspace Certified Administrator; Jamf Certified Admin; Microsoft 365 Certified (Nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Identity and SaaS management: Manage core SaaS stack (Google Workspace, O365, Slack, Zoom) and Okta IdP workflows, group management, and access provisioning.
- Device management: Oversee MacOS and Windows endpoint fleet, create policies, deploy applications, and manage patching schedules using Scalefusion and Kandji.
- Security and compliance: Act as the bridge between IT and InfoSec, actively monitor alerts, resolve vulnerabilities, and collaborate on incident response.
- Network support: Maintain Ubiquiti UniFi networks, including access points, switches, VLANs, and WiFi performance.
- Integrations and automation: Build and maintain SSO and SCIM integrations between IAM systems and SaaS apps, and use Zapier or custom code to automate manual IT workflows.
- Troubleshooting and RCA: Independently perform deep-dive troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on complex technical issues, implementing long-term resolutions.
- Ticket management: Resolve issues via the Freshservice ticketing system.
