About the Role
You will lead global business development efforts to onboard licensees onto our blockchain-based anime IP licensing platform. You will identify, source, and close licensing partnerships, negotiate complex deals, build and manage a pipeline, represent the company at industry events, and translate licensing needs into product features.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in licensor or licensee roles within the Japanese anime and/or manga licensing industry
- Strong understanding of licensing processes and design approval procedures
- Excellent communication skills in English (required) and Japanese (preferred)
- Open-minded approach and interest in internet platforms and emerging technologies like blockchain
- Experience with or interest in cutting-edge technologies and digital platforms
- Familiarity with global anime and manga markets
- Strong passion for anime and alignment with fan community interests and trends
