About the Role
You will lead the creation of data-driven intelligence products such as reports briefs and insights blogs. You will scope projects write and edit content verify data and claims shape visual presentations and coordinate approvals and publication. You will also manage multiple projects improve editorial workflows and deliver accurate reactive content under tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism International Relations Government Economics Security Studies or a related field
- 7+ years of professional experience writing and editing data-driven or research-driven content
- Exceptional command of English grammar structure and style
- Experience editing others' work for clarity narrative coherence and tone
- Strong research and fact-checking skills
- Ability to work with quantitative data and qualitative sources including OSINT court filings and enforcement actions
- Ability to manage multiple projects meet tight deadlines and operate in ambiguous environments
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency blockchain financial crime sanctions fraud cybercrime AML CTF or illicit finance or ability to ramp quickly on technical subject matter
- Ability to collaborate with data and analytics teams and discuss methodology at a non-technical level
- Experience with content management editorial workflow or collaboration tools
- Ability to use and improve AI tools while maintaining output quality
Responsibilities
- Lead intelligence product development from concept through publication
- Write and edit intelligence products for clarity accuracy structure and impact
- Verify data references and claims with quantitative and qualitative sources
- Develop data visualization concepts with design and analytics partners
- Partner with analysts investigators policy experts product stakeholders and marketing
- Scan media policy enforcement actions and internal intelligence for story opportunities
- Manage project plans milestones stakeholder communication and editorial reviews
- Maintain scalable systems for organizing drafts data and dependencies
- Facilitate retrospectives and improve production workflows
- Produce rapid responses to sanctions announcements enforcement actions and breaking crypto crime developments
