About the Role
You advise on the legal matters of a fast-growing technology company and report directly to management. You draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, advise on venture capital transactions, handle German employment law matters, build contract templates and legal playbooks, and provide clear guidance on legal risks to founders and department leads.
Requirements
- Professional experience in commercial and corporate law gained in-house or at a law firm
- Experience with contract negotiation, venture capital, or M&A transactions
- Experience independently handling German employment law matters
- Successfully completed the First State Examination with strong marks or an equivalent qualification such as an LL.M.
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound legal judgments
- Experience using AI tools for drafting, reviewing, and legal research
- Professional proficiency in German and English
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with enterprise customers, resellers, and technology partners
- Advise on venture capital transactions, including term sheets, financing round documentation, and cap table matters
- Handle German employment law matters across contracts, policies, terminations, and works council topics
- Build and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and internal legal processes
- Advise founders and department leads on legal risks in commercial decisions
- Translate complex legal questions into clear business guidance
